Mr. Drye is a co-founder and managing principal of Drye-McGlamery Engineering and licensed professional engineer in the State of Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Mr. Drye graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering and Management from North Carolina State University in 2008. He finished his graduate studies in 2011 at his alma mater earning a Master of Civil Engineering degree. Mr. Drye has been in the engineering and construction industry for over 20 years. Mr. Drye has a vast amount of field experience including masonry, concrete, field engineering and project management. He has worked on a large variety of project types including commercial, multi-family residential, hotel and lodging, federal government, department of defense, education, industrial and pharmaceutical.
Daniel J. McGlamery, PE
Mr. McGlamery is a co-founder and managing principal of Drye-McGlamery Engineering and licensed professional engineer in the State of Florida, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
Mr. McGlamery graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University in 2007. He earned a Master of Engineering Management degree in 2015 from Duke University. Mr. McGlamery brings over 20 years of experience in design engineering, field engineering, construction management and project management to the firm. He has worked on a large variety of project types including commercial, multi-family residential, hotel and lodging, federal government, department of defense, health care, higher education, industrial and pharmaceutical.
Jason Reynolds
Mr. Reynolds is a structural engineer at Drye-McGlamery Engineering. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University. Mr. Reynolds has over 3 years of experience in the engineering industry and has worked on a variety of large-scale commercial and industrial projects. His experience includes structural design and analysis of steel and masonry structures, preparation and coordination of structural drawings, and construction administration services. Mr. Reynolds has completed work for major manufacturing and research facilities and works closely with project teams to develop efficient and practical structural solutions in accordance with current building codes. He collaborates closely with architects, contractors, and other consultants to ensure projects are delivered successfully from design through construction.
Jeffrey Olson, PE
Mr. Olson is a structural engineer at Drye-McGlamery Engineering. He is a licensed professional engineer in the State of North Carolina and Colorado. Mr. Olson graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines in 2019 and a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines in 2020. Mr. Olson has been in the engineering industry for over 5 years and has experience in structural design, analysis, and construction administration. He has worked on a wide variety of projects including custom residential, multifamily, civic, justice, K-12, higher education, and commercial structures. Mr. Olson is experienced in preparing structural plans and calculations in accordance with modern building codes and works closely with project teams to deliver efficient and practical structural solutions.
Garrett S. Mitchem
Mr. Mitchem, a dedicated civil designer at Drye-McGlamery Engineering, PLLC, holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2023. Working in commercial construction while also pursuing his degree allowed him to fully comprehend the applications and methods that were being used while out in the field. Though Mr. Mitchem is new to the team he brings his experience with CAD and Microsoft programs from his schooling and experience with commercial construction around North Carolina. Mr. Mitchem is committed to growing professionally and aims to obtain his Professional Engineering license in Civil Engineering and all steps required of him beforehand.
Lilly Handler
Lilly is a dedicated Office Manager at Drye-McGlamery, supporting daily operations and ensuring workflows run smoothly across the organization. Her educational background provides a strong foundation in organizational management and communication, enabling her to manage a wide range of responsibilities with efficiency and attention to detail. She is known for her organization, reliability, and ability to balance multiple priorities. Lilly oversees daily office operations, coordinates meetings and travel, and supports team communication. Her work helps create a productive and well-organized environment, allowing the engineering team to stay focused and contributing to the continued success of the firm.
