DME was engaged to address a critical structural issue in a large multi-family development (River North) involving insufficient reinforcing steel in newly constructed elevated concrete slab sections.

To resolve this, DME employed innovative engineering solutions, including the design and implementation of post-installed carbon fiber rods and carbon fiber fabric. These measures ensured the structural integrity and strength of the elevated concrete slabs.

In our commitment to excellence, one of our principals, Heath Drye, personally oversaw the on-site installation to guarantee the proper execution of the specified strengthening methods.
